About Peer Support Solutions
Our Mission
At Peer Support Solutions, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive training programs for First Responders. Our trainers are all active or retired law enforcement who have decades of experience in working with officers who are dealing with personal or professional crisis.

Our mission is to empower these brave individuals by equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to create supportive communities within their own department or agency. With a focus on practical and straightforward approaches, our courses enable participants to apply their new skills immediately after completing our training.

The First Responder Community is a specific demographic and for many years, we have trained officers on how to help other officers. The need for mental health professionals has been recognized so we have expanded our classes to include clinicians and counselors in the training so that they can become accustomed to working with this unique population.

We understand how necessary and helpful it is for First Responders going through life issues, to find a space where they can build connections with others who understand exactly what they’re experiencing.

Our Professional Instructors provide the kind of comprehensive training that a department or agency needs to start and operate an internal peer support program that meets IACP program requirements. We help to bring your Peer Support Program from idea to inception and implementation. The guidelines that are taught can help your department develop an operational plan that compliments your current administrative officer wellness strategies and employee assistance program.
